What Is RC11?
RGB Protocol Association supports the development of RGB Protocol on Bitcoin v0.11.1, and is glad to see that ongoing work reflected in RC11. This release refines two specific checks the protocol runs behind the scenes: one in how it double-checks certain cryptographic proofs, the other in how it re-confirms transactions if the Bitcoin network briefly reorganizes.

The Association also extends its thanks to 0xaudron, an external developer, for finding and responsibly reporting the issue behind one of these fixes. This kind of outside scrutiny is exactly what an open, public codebase should invite, and it makes the protocol more resilient for everyone who builds on it.
RGB Protocol on Bitcoin’s codebase remains open for anyone to review or contribute to on GitHub. Anyone building on an earlier version is encouraged to update to RC11.
